Barry Brewer

In 1965 Charles “Pat” Brewer started Brewer Memorial Funeral Home, with one location in Brooksville, Florida, and in 1974, adding a second location in Spring Hill. In 1984, Pat and his son, Barry began a five and ten year plan. This plan included growth of the company through acquisitions and additional locations. In 1997, after adding several locations they merged with Equity Corporation International (ECI). In 1999, Family Owned Service Company (FOSC) began as a regional Central Florida acquisition company. Purchasing their location in Orlando, and the buyback of Brewer Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Brooksville and Spring Hill, Mark III Funeral Home in Tampa, Kurfiss Funeral Home in Clermont and Groveland, and most recently, “Eternal Rest” in Dunedin. FOSC entered the cemetery management business through the management agreement of Laurel Oak at Historic Masaryktown, and Parklawn Cemetery. FOSC also operates pet crematories, and cemeteries. FOSC now operates 16 facilities; 7 Funeral Homes, 2 human crematories, 2 cemeteries, 2 pet cemeteries, 1 pet crematory, 1 care center, and 1 auto maintenance facility
James Chandler

James has more than 37 years of experience in various areas of Commercial Business Lending and Real Estate Investment. Mr. Chandler has a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University (1980) and is CPA but does maintain a license to practice. He was employed by a local Waco accounting firm from 1980-1981, in Waco, Texas, immediately after graduating from Baylor University. Then from 1981 to 1992 he held various positions with Real Estate Developers in the North Texas Area and has been Treasurer to Congressman Jeb Hensarling since 2006 in Texas Fifth District. He was hired as CFO/COO and assisted in the formation of PSI Fund II upon closing a Wells Fargo Capital Finance $100MM Lending facility in July 2005
Rosemarie and Ami

Ami Ratliff was born and raised in a small hometown community in Bristow, Oklahoma. She moved to Brooksville, Florida in 1986 where she resides today.
Ami has 28 years customer service knowledge, strong administrative skills, and is diverse in various business experiences. Her banking career started in 1991 through 2003; whereas at that time she challenged herself and joined a family owned Real Estate Title Agency as an Escrow Closing Agent until it was sold to a Corporation in 2008. She currently serves as an Office Manager in the Funeral Home Industry. Her passion is maintaining a high-level of professionalism, empathy, compassion and understanding while serving her families.

Rosemarie Kardos was born and is a life-long resident of Brooksville, Florida. She graduated from Hernando High School in 1978, and attended College for a Business Degree. Rosemarie owned and operated her Limousine business for over 13 successful years. During that time, she assisted in servicing families with transportation for Brewer & Sons Funeral Home. She feels strongly about both supporting families, and giving back to her community. Along with her love of people she also has a big heart for animals. Rosemarie is involved with animal rescue working closely with the Humane Society. She has been in the customer service industry for 35 years.

Mary Bath Gary

Mary Beth has more than 35 years experience in public accounting. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and attended Oxford University in England. Mary Beth has been with Oliver & Company P.A. since 1984 and serves as the firms Managing Director and Chair of its Quality Control Committee. Mary Beth is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and a Certified Financial Planner.
Darryl W. Johnston

Darryl was born and raised in Brooksville, Florida. He graduated from Hernando High School, and went on to attend college at University of Florida, and Stetson University of Law where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and a Juris Doctor Degree respectively. Mr. Johnston worked for three years in Orlando, Florida before returning to his hometown to work with Johnston & Sasser, P.A. He assists clients primarily in areas including residential and commercial real estate matters, business formation and corporate matters, corporate and real property litigation. He has 29 years experience in this field.
